Asian Fluid Machinery Committee (AFMC)
| The Asian Fluid machinery Committee (AFMC) was
established at 9th AICFM which was held in Jeju, Korea, Oct. 2007. 9th AICFM which was hosted by Korean Fluid Machinery Association(KFMA) and chaired by Prof. Kwanmg-Yong Kim of Inha University was very successful with about 300 technical papers and about 300 attendants, and it was thought to be the right time to construct an organization to control future AICFMs. AFMC was officially constructed (24 members from 9 countries) and first chairman, Prof. S H. Kang was elected at the international advisory committee meeting of 9th AICFM which was held at 12:20 pm on Oct. 17, 2007 in Jeju, Korea. We had 2008 AFMC Forum and Meeting in Beijing and Tianjin, Oct. 9 -10, 2008. Prof. S. Xue organized this event and arranged financial support. |
